Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling art that places an emphasis on ground fighting. It is based on the application of technique and leverage to overcome a larger and stronger opponent. The BJJ practitioner's goal is to progressively gain dominant positions on the ground and then use joint-locks and choke-holds to force an opponent into submission. Derived from the Japanese arts, BJJ was developed into its own unique art in Brazil.

Today, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is established worldwide and it continues to gain popularity as an exciting sport and as an effective method of self-defense for Men, Women & Children.
